Camera settings: in the manual mode of the M gear, the shutter is adjusted to the B door.

Adjust the aperture to F11.

Due to the long exposure, the ISO sensitivity should be reduced as much as possible, 100 will be fine, the white balance can be automatic or cloudy, and the focus mode is manual.

When composing a picture, you must first use the white light mode of NiceFoto TC-288 to light the portrait, so that the focus on the face can be fixed. Then check the stability of the tripod and the camera, the gimbal must be locked, and the lens is not allowed to shake during the whole process, which is why the shutter remote control must be used.

Turn on the RGB color light mode of the stick light TC-288, and use the changing scene light of the color light. Turn on the NiceFoto SL-120A used for face fill light, and set the color temperature to 5500K. This light is very compact and portable. After turning it on, you can put it in your pocket directly to prevent it from leaking light.

Use the shutter remote to press the shutter without letting go. One person holds the TC-288 that constantly changes the RGB color light to draw the desired pattern behind the portrait,
Tip: Do not turn on any ambient light at this time (the picture shows a little ambient light turned on to see the operation clearly).

After the drawing is finished, turn off the TC-288 and leave. At this time, the photographer takes out the SL-120A video light that was turned on in advance from his pocket and approaches the portrait to fill in the light for about 2 seconds. (SL-120A only fills in the light briefly at the end, otherwise the portrait will be overexposed).

After the portrait fill light is completed, the shutter can be released, and a gorgeous picture is completed.

During the shooting, you can also use flashlights, small fireworks, etc. to replace NiceFoto’s RGB lights TC-288 and SL-120A pocket video lights in the video. You can also draw patterns as you like, You may get unexpected effects.
